Utilizing our expertise in web design and site usability, we develop a set of working concepts or designs that outline the look and feel of the new website. The concepts outline the type and number of page templates, as well as the interface elements that will be present on each. 

Interface Design

Through your feedback and approved wireframes we determine a direction for the final interface design of the application and upon review of these concepts, you will select one to move forward with. After selection we will draft up to three revisions to ensure you receive the design that works for you and your audience.

Building the Site

Our web development team begins modifying and developing code in the development phase that will power the website as outlined in the strategy and design phases. You remain informed throughout and as the process nears completion we will partner with you to ensure the final product is ready for launch in the following areas:

  • Functionality and appearance testing across multiple browsers (includes IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera and Chrome)
  • Content upload to the test version of the site. This includes all text, photos and documents provided by the client or created by SiteCrafting
  • On-site training with a SiteCrafting developer. All client administrators of the site will be given an admin manual for reference and provided training with the Web Production Manager responsible for the project.

So it's all ready - your site has been designed, coded to the highest standards, tested and is about to launch. We then work with your staff to ensure the launch goes smoothly. While most clients host with SiteCrafting, we are able to assist you with setting up your servers for outside web hosting as well. Don't worry, we guide you through the process, which looks like this:

  • Set up web server to serve up the new pages
  • Set up e-mail accounts
  • Configure your internal e-mail clients to access our servers for mail
  • Switch DNS servers and wait 6-24 hours
  • CELEBRATE!

Once your site is launched you want to make sure you continue to actively promote the site. We offer traffic building strategies ranging from off-line campaigns to social media consulting and web-based viral campaigns. Let our combined web experience and track record work for you as you continue your outreach.

Support
SiteCrafting provides maintenance services for all sites developed in-house. We’re happy to provide additional training for new web administrators or those needing a refresher course. Any small code changes to CMS websites will be billed hourly. Large functionality or design changes will be managed and billed through a work order process.
